She has a master's degree in law. She graduated from the National University «Mudryi Law Academy of Ukraine» (renamed to Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University). She has successfully defended her thesis and got a degree of Doctor of Philosophy in law (PhD) after the postgraduate studies at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Yuliya Zhytnyk is an advocate. She is experienced in the state tax service, held academic positions (the Financial Law Department of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv). Since the beginning of the electricity market operation, she held leading positions in the «Guaranteed Buyer» State Enterprise: led the Procurement Support Department, was the Chairman of the Tender Committee, the Authorized person for procurement, as well as the Head of Regulatory and Legal Support Department.
She is the author of the monography: «Tariff mechanisms in the field of public fund foundations functioning: financial and legal aspect», has numerous scientific publications on the tariff mechanisms application in the energy field, public utilities, medicine, tax field, and public administration. She was also the first to offer the recognizing tariff funds as a separate fund, and to give it the public status, as well as to establish at the legislative level the responsibility for the inefficient and mismanagement of tariff funds by the entities.

He has two higher educations. Has graduated from the American School of Warsaw with an International Bachelor`s degree, and from University of London, King's College London, with bachelor`s degree of War Studies Research.
He is Managing Partner of Montis Capital - Venture Capital Fund, and Member of the Advisory group – Investors Dialogue on Energy – Directorate General Energy - European Commission. Has been working in the European Parliament on energy reports and energy security reports. He was the member of the European Investment Council of the Horizon Europe, the member of the Supervisory Boards of PZU Ukraine Insurance Company, JSC KREDOBANK, Polish company InvestGas SA, German gas trader PGNiG Sales and Trading Gmbh, as well as Engineering construction corporation Hercules SA.
Lina Masiuliene is a senior business leader with 15 years’ experience in the energy sector, former CEO and Board member of the Lithuanian Power Exchange. Lina Masiuliene was elected to the APEx Board of Directors in December 2011.
She has 10 years’ experience at Nord Pool, Europe’s leading power exchange. Lina currently holds responsibility for delivering IT and related services to several national power exchanges and transmission system operators as well as heading-up the company’s dedicated consultancy arm, Nord Pool Consulting.
Lina also has solid frontline experience in the finance and banking sector, having at one time had responsibility for private banking at SEB Bank.
Lina Masiuliene has a Master’s degree in Finance and Banking from Vilnius University. In addition, she studied business management and administration at Concordia University in Canada.
She graduated from the Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance’s education for professional Board members and got a second Master’s degree in High Performance Leadership from BCS International, UK.
Andrii Stepanenko graduated from the Law Faculty of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a degree in law. He specialises in corporate governance and financial markets. He has extensive experience in public service at the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, has served as a member of the Board of the National Depository of Ukraine, and has held senior positions at TBIH-SigmaBlazer. He is the author and co-author of numerous scientific, journalistic, and analytical works on the issuance and circulation of securities, information disclosure, the protection of shareholders’ rights.
As a member of the Supervisory Board of JSC «Market operator», he will focus on obtaining the status of a commodity exchange for the Company and advancing its corporate governance development.
She obtained her Master's degree in public administration from the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine. She also got her economic education, graduating from the Economics faculty of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, and continuing studies at the postgraduate of the Institute of the Economy and Forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Her career road started in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the internship program «Assistant Chairman of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine 2002-2003», under the support of Indiana University.
For about ten years, she has acquired experience at the management positions of the State Property Fund of Ukraine. Has a Qualification Certificate on the governance of corporate state rights and an Appraiser Qualification Certificate.
She was a member of the Supervisory board for assessment activities and a member of the Supervisory board of OJSC «RPA «Kyiv Automatics Plant named after Petrovsky».
