FIRST 20 DAYS OF MAY 2026: BASE ELECTRICITY PRICE INDEX ON THE DAY-AHEAD MARKET AMOUNTS TO UAH 4,879.31/MWh

The base load electricity price index on the Day-Ahead Market (DAM) for the first 20 days of May 2026 amounted to UAH 4,879.31/MWh. The weighted average electricity buy-sell price for this period amounted to UAH 5,036.32/MWh. On the Intraday Market (IDM), the weighted average price of electricity accepted during the first 20 days of May amounted to UAH 4,990.06/MWh.
The volume of electricity traded on the Day-Ahead Market during the first 20 days of May 2026 amounted to 1,444,979.1 MWh, while 143,706.6 MWh was accepted on the Intraday Market. Compared to the corresponding period of April, trading volumes on the DAM during the first 20 days of May this year decreased by 13.04%, supply increased by 2.29%, and demand declined by 12.79%.
