APRIL 2026: BASE ELECTRICITY PRICE INDEX ON THE DAY-AHEAD MARKET (DAM) AMOUNTS TO UAH 5,391.30/MWh

The Base period electricity price index on the Ukrainian Day-Ahead Market (DAM) in April 2026 amounted to UAH 5,391.30/MWh, which is 23.80% lower compared to March. The weighted average buy-sell electricity price on the DAM for this period amounted to UAH 5,791.59/MWh, while the weighted average price of accepted electricity on the Intraday Market (IDM) was UAH 5,007.83/MWh.
Trading volumes on the Day-Ahead Market decreased by 18.18%, while on the Intraday Market they increased by 4.54%, and in April 2026 a total of 2,771,923.9 MWh was accepted across both market segments. On the DAM in April of this year, demand decreased by 17.15% compared to March, while supply fell by 16.98%. On the IDM, demand increased by 0.14%, while supply decreased by 9.65%.
