WE INVITE YOU TO THE “BALANCING MARKET AND PRODUCERS” COURSE, TO BE HELD ON APRIL 28, 2026

On April 28, 2026, as part of the Social Program of JSC “Market Operator”, aimed at increasing awareness of the functioning of Ukraine’s electricity market, the course “Balancing Market and Producers” will take place.

Ukrainian electricity producers currently operate in a complex and dynamic environment, where planning errors or a lack of understanding of market mechanisms may result in significant financial losses. This is particularly relevant for the balancing market, where forecasting accuracy and sound operational decisions are critical for stable operations.

The consultations are designed to develop a comprehensive understanding of the principles of the balancing market and the role of producers within it. Particular attention will be paid to practical case studies and the most common mistakes made by market participants, which may cost companies substantial resources, including the occurrence of imbalances, the provision of balancing services, and price formation in the balancing market. The consultation format will allow participants not only to acquire theoretical knowledge but also to understand how to apply it in day-to-day operations.

Course participants will receive:

• a clear understanding of the operating rules of electricity market segments;
• insight into pricing logic and schedule formation;
• a step-by-step explanation of participation in the balancing market;
• practical tools for minimizing imbalances;
• analysis of real-life cases and action algorithms for complex situations;
• an understanding of the processes of issuing and executing dispatch instructions in the balancing market.

The consultations are conducted within the framework of the Social Program of JSC “Market Operator”, which includes the courses “Market Model,” “Green+,” “Distributed Generation,” and “Balancing Market and Producers.”

The Program also has a social component: all proceeds from the provision of advisory services are directed to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
