The share of 25,69% of electricity, sold on the day-ahead market and the intraday market in October 2023, was produced from nuclear fuel and 14,86% – from hydropower. This is stated in the report of the JSC Market Operator on environmental aspects for October 2023.
The share of electricity sold on the DAM and IDM last month amounted to: 14,47% - from natural gas, 13,54% - from solar energy, 13,31% of electricity produced from coal, 2,25% - from fuel oil, 1,28% - from biogas, 1,11% - from biomass, 0,84% - from wind energy, 0,30% - from industrial gas.
The source of 1,33% of electricity sold on the DAM and IDM in October 2023 is not specified. The share of another 10,36% of electricity is unknown due to the failure of some market participants to provide relevant information.
