"MARKET OPERATOR» TOGETHER WITH TARAS SHAVCHENKO NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF KYIV WILL PREPARE PROFESSIONALS FOR UKRAINIAN BUSINESS

Market Operator JSC has signed an agreement on educational partnership with Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The agreement on scientific and educational cooperation was signed by Oleksandr Havva, CEO of JSC "Market Operator", and Volodymyr Bugrov, Rector of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

"The energy sector plays a key role in Ukraine's economy. Considering the Energy Strategy of Ukraine until 2050, developed by the Ministry of Energy, the industry expects to increase both production capacity and cash flow as well. The number of new jobs will increase, respectively, including gender equity and social inclusion. Therefore, employers' investments in education are crucial today," Oleksandr Havva said.

According to him, the JSC Market Operator, as a European-style company, considers its social mission in teaching future young professionals with practical knowledge in the electricity sector, explaining how the company's economy is structured and what business processes contribute to successful work during the wartime.

Volodymyr Bugrov noted the consolidation of employers and academics efforts in students training. "The university with its considerable scientific potential, including the Faculty of Economics, whose dean, Mrs. Angela Ihnatiuk, present at the ceremony today, is ready to develop new courses and explore the Ukrainian electricity market together with the new partner," the rector said.
