The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine appointed members of the Supervisory Board of the JSC "Market Operator" and approved its personnel.
Polish investment banker, business representative at the European Commission Lukasz Dziekonski, representative of the Scandinavian Nord Pool Power Exchange management Lina Masiuliene and Ukrainian lawyer Yuliya Zhytnyk became independent members of the Supervisory Board of the JSC "Market Operator". Olena Kovalchuk, who has many years of working experience on corporate governance reform, and Dmytro Olefir, who has been working in the electric power industry of Ukraine since 1998, were elected state representatives.
The formation of the Supervisory Board is a part of the JSC "Market Operator" corporatization, an important prerequisite for the market coupling introduction with the EU.
