Information on the fixed payment for the Market operator`s software using, and payment for purchase and sale transactions on the DAM/IDM in 2022

According to part 6 of Article 51 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Electricity Market", the financing of the market operator`s activities is carried out due to the DAM/IDM participants in accordance with the DAM/IDM Rules.

The DAM/IDM Rules, approved by the NEURC`s Resolution ¹ 308 dated March 14, 2019, with amendments, determine that the cost of Market operator services provided on the DAM/IDM, consists of:

1) Fixed payment for the Market operator`s software using, which is paid monthly with full prepayment;

2) Payment for purchase and sale transactions on the DAM/IDM, which is paid daily, based on the DAM/IDM trading results.

It is stipulated that the Market operator shall calculate and agree the fixed payment for Market operator`s software using, and the purchase and sale transactions tariff on the DAM/IDM with the Regulator, in accordance with the fixed payment calculation Procedure for the use of the Market operator`s software, as well as the purchase and sale transactions tariff on the DAM/IDM that is an Annex 9 to the DAM and IDM Rules.

The amount of the fixed payment for the Market operator`s software using, as well as the purchase and sale transactions tariff on the DAM/IDM shall be agreed by the NEURC`s Resolution.

In accordance with Annex 9 to the DAM/IDM Rules the fixed payment for the Market operator`s software using, and the purchase and sale transactions tariff on the DAM/IDM in 2022 are agreed by the NEURC`s Resolution ¹2236 dated 17 November, 2021, with amendments (the NEURC`s Resolution ¹488 dated 17 May, 2022):

- fixed payment for the Market operator`s software using amounts to UAH 2 645,16 (net of VAT).

- purchase and sale transactions tariff on the DAM/IDM amounts to 13,31 UAH/MWh (net of VAT).
